Handel’s Messiah brings the season to a close with a journey through spirituality, emotion, and Baroque splendour. Conceived for a more intimate ensemble and combining moments of profound intimacy with passages of majestic grandeur, the oratorio returns under the direction of Timothy Brown in a reading that evokes the Venetian taste for the dialogue between voices, instruments, and musical theatre.
