– Dixit Dominus –
Here is a title that needs no presentation! It seems that Haendel started composing this spectacular psalm for soloists, chorus, and orchestra in northern Italy in the Spring of 1707, before heading to Rome…. We would like to think that at least a few pages might have been composed right here in Venice! Join us and our guest choir Aurora Consort from the UK, directed by Vetta Wise, to celebrate the closing of the first part of Season 2024 with one of Haendel’s greatest Italian masterpieces! We will Ba-ROCK you!
